Nestled in the historic Hollywood Hills of Laurel Canyon, this 1920's director's bungalow has been renovated into a beautiful and tranquil escape with stunning canyon & city views.

We are taking action to maximize sanitization efforts:
-Washing towels & linens with hot water and drying them on high heat.
-Increased cleaning of remotes, surfaces, doorknobs, handles, appliances, toilets, bathrooms & floors across all rooms in the whole house.
-Spraying upholstery on couches & chairs with Lysol.

This house is at the very end of a private & narrow hillside drive. Please be aware that you will likely need to reverse out of the drive for 100 feet or so before you can turn around once you've come to the property. If this is an issue, please contact us for more details to make sure this is a good fit for your time in town. We assure you that this home is worth it. 

While this house has been beautifully renovated in recent years, part of the charm of these 1920's canyon homes is that they were built to take advantage of the natural canyon breeze that comes through these hills.  If you open opposing windows, a wonderful cross-breeze comes through.  Due to this (and the original build year) these homes don't have central air or heating.  Use of window A/C units is available for warmer seasons in the bedrooms and the wood burning fireplace for colder months by way of "wax logs" that we provide.

Guests have access to the entire property other than locked storage areas.

While we are available for anything you need during your stay, all Arrive And Thrive properties are self-access, giving you the freedom to arrive at any time you like with no need to meet in person.

Historic Laurel Canyon is highly desired by artists of all types, as it has been the home to countless musicians, directors, actors, producers, and artists through the years. You are 5 minutes from the heart of Hollywood or West Hollywood and yet you feel as though you're in another area completely.

Just down the street is Jim Morrison's previous home, as well as the homes of the Birds, the Mama's and the Papa's, Stephen Tyler, Janice Joplin, Joni Mitchell, the Harry Houdini Estate, Historic Frank Lloyd Wright homes, and the list goes on and on.

You are also up the street from Pace, one of LA's best Italian Restaurants and the only restaurant directly in the canyon.

Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd are the two closest city streets to this home.

There is no smoking allowed in the Canyon due to hillside fire concerns. We are aware that this may be an inconvenience to some guests, so please contact us with any questions prior to booking.

A car or ride-share is recommended while staying at this home. While you are very close to lots of local attractions and restaurants, it would be a bit of a hike to get down to Sunset Blvd which is the closest city street.

This house is located in the Hollywood Hills of Laurel Canyon and is at the end of a single-car drive. Guests will need to reverse out of the carport until they get to a spot where they can safely turn around. We just want this noted prior to booking in case this sounds less than desirable to anyone. However in our opinion... the views and tranquility are well worth it.
